LED Video Wall Supplier UK
Direct-view LED video walls with seamless, bezel-free canvases — from fine-pitch indoor displays to high-brightness outdoor installations.
LED video walls use direct-view LED technology to create seamless, bezel-free display canvases at almost any scale. Unlike LCD video walls, there are no visible gaps between panels — the entire surface is continuous. This makes LED suited to large-format displays where impact and immersion matter, from corporate atriums to retail storefronts and outdoor fascias.
How LED Video Walls Work
A direct-view LED (DV-LED) wall is built from modular panels tiled together. Each panel contains thousands of individual LEDs that produce light directly — there is no backlight or liquid crystal layer. The pixel pitch (the distance between LED centres, measured in millimetres) determines the resolution and minimum comfortable viewing distance.
Finer pitch displays (P1.2–P2.5) suit close-viewing environments like boardrooms and control rooms. Wider pitch (P4–P10) is used for larger displays viewed from further away, such as retail fascias and outdoor installations. The right pitch depends on your audience distance, content type, and budget.
Where LED Video Walls Are Used
Indoor environments include corporate lobbies, boardrooms, broadcast studios, retail flagships, and event spaces. Outdoor applications include building facades, stadium displays, and high-street retail fascias where brightness and weatherproofing are essential.
Specialised variants include transparent LED (for glass windows and storefronts), GOB-protected LED (with a resin coating for high-traffic or interactive installations), and all-in-one LED totems (freestanding plug-and-play displays).
Our Process
We start with a site survey to assess wall dimensions, ambient light, viewing distances, and structural mounting. We then recommend a pixel pitch and configuration, supply the hardware, manage installation, and provide ongoing content management and support.
Our turnkey service covers survey, design, supply, installation, content creation, and maintenance — all managed in-house so you have a single point of contact throughout.
What Affects the Cost
Several factors influence the final price of a signage project. We provide detailed quotations after understanding your specific requirements — every project is quoted individually.
Pixel Pitch
Finer pitch (lower mm) means higher resolution and more LEDs per square metre, increasing cost. The right pitch depends on viewing distance.
Display Size
Larger walls require more panels, mounting hardware, and installation time. Size is driven by your space and audience distance.
Indoor vs Outdoor
Outdoor displays need IP-rated weatherproofing, higher brightness (up to 8,000 cd/m²), and heavier-duty mounting, all of which add cost.
Brightness Level
High-brightness LED for atriums or window displays costs more than standard indoor brightness. Requirements depend on ambient light.
Mounting & Structure
Custom mounting frames, wall reinforcement, or freestanding structures add to the project cost. A site survey determines what is needed.
Content Management
Ongoing content scheduling, monitoring, and updates can be bundled into the project or handled as a managed service.
