Built-up letters are three-dimensional, constructed with returns (sides) that give them depth — typically 50mm to 150mm. Flat cut letters are cut from a single sheet of material with no depth. Built-up letters create more visual impact and can be illuminated.

Yes, built-up letters can be face-lit (light shines forward), halo-lit (light shines backward onto the wall), or edge-lit. We use energy-efficient LED modules with external drivers for reliable, long-lasting illumination.
